Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing – Lead Clinical Excellence in Skilled Nursing to support clinical leadership, oversee care, and ensure regulatory compliance in our skilled nursing center.

You will participate in care planning, RAI processes, and case management, while leading infection control practices, audits, and collaborative rounds with physicians. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 1+ year supervisory experience in skilled nursing.
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations and RAI process.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience in infection prevention and quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing clinical care and services.

• Monitor documentation, medication administration, and MAR/TAR audits.
• Lead infection control practices and safety compliance.
• Conduct daily rounds and collaborate with physicians.
• Support Quality Assurance, surveys, and Plans of Correction.

• Respond to resident and family concerns with professionalism and compassion.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Support budget management and cost control initiatives.

Pay Range:

93,808.00 - 129,584.00

In addition to base compensation, Sunrise may offer discretionary and/or non-discretionary bonuses. The eligibility to receive such a bonus will depend on the employee’s position, plan/program offered by Sunrise at the time, and required performance pursuant to the plan/program.
