Palo Verde Behavioral Health is seeking an experienced Assistant Director, Business Office to join our Team!

This position will assist the Business Office Director in managing the department staff, Insurance Verification, Billing and Collection processes. Maintain follow-up and collection activity including letters, telephone and personal contact with insurance companies, third party payers and patients. Assists the Business Office Director with additional AR management tasks and performs other duties as assigned.

Palo Verde Behavioral Health Hospital provides comprehensive behavioral healthcare for adolescents, adults, and senior adults suffering from mental health and addictive illnesses. PVBH is an 86-bed, short-term, acute care hospital offering inpatient, partial and intensive outpatient hospitalization, as well as specialized treatment programs for chemical dependency. Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's Degree reqired, preferrably in Finance, Accounting or a similar field.

Experience:

1-3 years of experience in finance, accounting, collections, billing preferrably in a business office setting.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a level one fingerprint clearance.
