Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in West Texas seeks an experienced endocrinologist to join the Endocrinology and Diabetes Center of Excellence. You will provide comprehensive hormonal care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to education and patient outcomes.

The role emphasizes clinical excellence, teaching fellows and residents, and opportunities to participate in program growth and quality initiatives within TTUHSC.

Formación

• MD/DO or equivalent.
• Completion of an ACGME Internal Medicine Residency.
• Completion of, or in the process of completing, an ACGME-accredited Endocrinology Fellowship.
• Ability to obtain a Texas Medical License.
• Foreign Medical Graduates: ECFMG Certification or OREequivalency.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and treat hormonal imbalances and disorders.
• Prescribe medications, hormone replacement therapies and lifestyle adjustments.
• Provides ongoing care for diabetes, thyroid diseases, osteoporosis, PCOS, etc.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive care.
• Documents all services in patient medical record.
• Participates in quality improvement and other patient care programs.
• Adheres to institutional and departmental policies and procedures.
• Participate in bedside teaching and lectures for fellows, residents and medical students.

Position Description

Texas Tech Physicians Endocrinology and Diabetes Center ofExcellence is staffed with highly equipped professionals who havespecific experience treating metabolic disorders in west Texas. Ourproviders are some of the most specialized in the region. Staffedwith leading educators and researchers, TTUHSC strives to accesseffective treatment and reduce risks for patients with a variety ofcomplications. Rank of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor andapplicable salary are dependent upon candidate’s qualifications andexperience.
