Job summary

Troy University seeks an Assistant/Associate Professor or Lecturer of Sport Pedagogy and Physical Activity Program Coordinator in the School of Allied Health, College of Health Sciences. You will teach a 24-hour annual load of undergraduate/graduate courses, direct IMPACT sessions, advise students, and coordinate the Physical Activity program.

If tenure track, scholarship expectations apply per the College of Health Sciences.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Sport Pedagogy / Physical Education Teacher Education or closely related field.
• Doctorate in sport pedagogy with teaching certification and 5 years’ experience (preferred).
• If Faculty position: 12 Month contract.

Responsibilities

• Teach a 24 hour credit annual load of undergraduate and/or graduate courses as assigned.
• Direct IMPACT sessions.
• Advise as needed and serve as the Physical Activity program coordinator.
• If tenure track, scholarship expectations as outlined by the College of Health Sciences.

Job Summary: The Assistant/Associate Professor or Lecturer of Sport Pedagogy (PE Teacher Education) and Physical Activity Program Coordinator position in the School of Allied Health is responsible for teaching a 24 hour credit annual load of undergraduate and/or graduate courses as assigned; directing IMPACT sessions; advising as needed and serving as the Physical Activity program coordinator.
