Job summary

Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking an Assistant/Associate General Counsel to join the General Counsel & Compliance Department. The role focuses on reviewing and negotiating contracts spanning research, manufacturing, service, and technology transfer, supporting Roswell Park’s research mission.

The candidate will provide regulatory guidance and timely legal support, interfacing with clinical, research, and administrative teams to minimize risk and advance institutional goals.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited U.S. law school.
• Admitted to the New York Bar.
• Minimum four years of full‑time private practice or in‑house legal experience.

Responsibilities

• Review and negotiate contracts including research, manufacturing, procurement, service and license agreements.
• Provide regulatory guidance and contract interpretation to support clinical and research missions.
• Interface with management across departments to deliver timely legal support and minimize risk.
