Position: Anesthesia Technician Assistant
Under the supervision of licensed anesthesia providers, the Anesthesia Technician Assistant assists in monitoring patients' physiological parameters, preparing drugs, fluids, anesthesia, and equipment related to operative procedures requiring anesthesia setup. They also operate and maintain patient care monitors and anesthesia equipment.

Responsibilities:
The technician assists in clinical settings such as the OR, OB suite, radiology, PACU, ICU, Cath Lab, ER, endoscopy, dental suites, ambulatory surgery, research labs, and emergency situations.
They perform setup, operation, and troubleshooting of anesthesia delivery systems and ancillary devices, maintain inventory, and support emergency and trauma responses.
Additional duties include supporting anesthesia staff, preparing patients for invasive procedures, assisting with complex cases, and maintaining equipment and supplies.
The role requires speed, accuracy, and participation in quality improvement activities, always under supervision of licensed anesthesia providers or CRNAs.
