Job summary

Menlo Ventures in San Francisco seeks a data-driven analyst to drive category performance insights and partnership with leadership on assortment strategies. You will build dashboards tracking GMV, traffic, and campaign outcomes, and collaborate across disciplines to align on priorities.

The role requires 1–2 years of experience in analytics/operations, proficiency in SQL and Excel, and strong communication skills in English (Mandarin a plus). Weekend work may be required during campaigns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in project management, operations, analytics, or related functions; e-commerce experience a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset and structured problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in SQL and Microsoft Excel; comfortable handling large datasets.
• Able to manage multiple stakeholders and communicate across teams.
• Strong ownership, attention to detail, and high-quality execution.
• Fast learner, adaptable to changing business needs.
• Fluent in English; Mandarin a plus.
• Willingness to work occasional weekends/public holidays with campaign calendars.

Responsibilities

• Analyze category performance and market trends to identify growth opportunities and translate insights into actionable plans.
• Build and maintain dashboards to track GMV, traffic, conversion, and campaign performance.
• Partner with senior leadership to develop assortment and category strategies driving revenue growth.
• Serve as venture PIC for assortment programs coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with seller engagement, account management, marketing, and regional teams.
• Support campaign planning and execution, including mega campaigns and peak periods.
• Own assigned workstreams from scoping to execution and follow-up.
