Job summary

South Central Baptist Network, Inc. seeks a full-time Associational Mission Strategist to serve pastors, churches, and communities in South Central Georgia.

The AMS will provide spiritual, relational, strategic, and administrative leadership to the Association, working with pastors and churches to encourage cooperation and advance evangelism and missions. The role focuses on strengthening congregations, developing church health, and connecting the Association with the Georgia Baptist Convention

Qualifications

• Must have a clear calling to Gospel ministry and meet biblical qualifications for pastoral ministry.
• Commitment to Baptist Faith & Message 2000 and the Association's doctrinal convictions.
• Meaningful pastoral or ministry leadership experience.
• Heart for encouraging pastors and church families; ability to develop evangelism and mission strategies.

Responsibilities

• Provide spiritual, relational, strategic, and administrative leadership to the Association.
• Encourage cooperation among pastors and churches to advance evangelism and missions.
• Strengthen congregations and help churches reach communities with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
• Represent and connect the Association with the Georgia Baptist Convention and Southern Baptist Convention.

ASSOCIATIONAL MISSIONS STRATEGIST

The South Central Baptist Network, Inc., a family of Southern Baptist churches in South Central Georgia, is seeking a full-time Associational Mission Strategist (AMS) to serve our pastors, churches, and communities.

The AMS will provide spiritual, relational, strategic, and administrative leadership to the Association, working alongside pastors and churches to encourage cooperation, advance evangelism and missions, strengthen congregations, and help churches more effectively reach their communities with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We Are Seeking a Man Who

• Demonstrates a clear calling to Gospel ministry and meets the biblical qualifications for pastoral ministry.
• Is committed in belief and practice to the Baptist Faith & Message 2000 and the doctrinal convictions of the Association.
• Has meaningful pastoral or ministry leadership experience.
• Has a heart for encouraging and supporting pastors and their families.
• Understands and respects the autonomy of the local church.
• Can help churches develop effective strategies for evangelism, discipleship, missions, ministry, and church health.
• Can build relationships and cooperation among churches of varying sizes and ministry contexts.
• Possesses strong communication, organizational, leadership, and administrative skills.
• Can effectively represent and connect the Association with the Georgia Baptist Convention and Southern Baptist Convention.

The AMS will serve as a resource, encourager, strategist, and partner to the Pastors and churches of the South Central Baptist Network as together we seek to strengthen churches and reach our communities with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
