Job summary
The Boeing Company in Utah is seeking an Associate Test & Evaluation Technician with welding and fabrication experience to support the ICBM program at LMTF, Hill AFB, Ogden. This role involves procuring, assembling, and testing hardware for electromagnetic environments and data acquisition systems, under general supervision. Travel to U.S.
job sites and bases will be required. You will design test hardware, assist in calibrations, and support safety and readiness reviews throughout test
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering/related field or non-US equivalent.
- 2+ years related work experience with a degree or equivalent.
- Welding and fabrication experience with multiple techniques and drawings.
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting in a test lab environment.
- Background in engineering test support within a lab setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform welding/fabrication from drawings using MIG/TIG/stick methods.
- Set up and test customer articles in electromagnetic environments.
- Configure instrumentation and data acquisition systems for testing.
- Support EME Labs by testing, operating, and maintaining test stands.
- Design test hardware and upgrade test stands and methods as needed.
- Lead tests, monitor progress and document activities; manage unforeseen events.
- Travel to job sites across the U.S. and potentially bases abroad.
- Participate in test readiness reviews and calibrations to meet requirements.
