Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a senior technology leader to transform provider productivity via AI at scale, shape the technology roadmap for front-office to clinic operations, and drive data-driven outcomes across multi-state markets.

The role oversees major transformation programs (EMR optimization, AI adoption, workflow modernization) and engages with senior executives to align investment priorities, governance, and measurable business value.

Qualifications

• Must have 12+ years of progressive technology leadership experience including product development, engineering, data, analytics and digital transformation.
• 5+ years leading cross-functional teams of product managers, software engineers, data scientists, UX designers, architects and clinical informaticists.
• Proven success delivering AI-enabled products and operational capabilities at enterprise scale.
• Deep understanding of healthcare delivery workflows, especially primary care and value-based care.
• Experience designing modern data platforms, interoperability solutions, and AI/ML ecosystems on cloud-native architectures.
• Ability to translate business, clinical, and operational needs into roadmaps with measurable outcomes.
• Track record of exceptional user experiences for physicians, clinical staff, patients, and operations.
• Strong human-centered design, journey mapping and digital product development skills.
• Experience leading enterprise AI strategy including generative AI, predictive analytics, and responsible AI governance.
• Knowledge of FHIR, HL7, APIs, and healthcare data exchange ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Transform Provider Productivity Through AI at Scale by designing ambient documentation, chart summarization, coding assistance and more.
• Own the Technology Portfolio Supporting Practice Operations including patient access and clinic workflows.
• Drive executive-level business outcomes by building data assets, automation and decision-support platforms.
• Lead large-scale strategic initiatives across the Primary Care Enterprise including EMR optimization and AI adoption.
• Build the future state of intelligent care delivery operations with scalable platforms and governance.
