Job description

Hello, potential PriceSmart candidate. We’re on a mission to hire the very best, and are committed to creating exceptional employee experiences where everyone is respected and has access to equal opportunity. We realize the greatest contributions to the company can come from anywhere in the organization, and we know that the next one could be yours! We are looking for an Associate Vice President, Supply Chain & Logistics Technology to lead the technology capabilities that enable PriceSmart’s end-to-end supply chain, from supplier and product flow through inventory, distribution, warehousing and logistics. This leader will translate business priorities into an integrated technology roadmap and accountable product outcomes, ensuring technology improves product availability, inventory productivity, operational efficiency, supply chain visibility and scalability across PriceSmart’s multi-country operations. Operating within the Product Engineering model, the AVP will own the Supply Chain & Logistics Technology portfolio while partnering closely with ERP/JDE, Enterprise Architecture & Strategy, Data & AI, Infrastructure/Ops & Security and Technology Business Operations. The role is expected to simplify the technology landscape, modernize critical capabilities, strengthen business ownership, and accelerate measurable delivery rather than operate as a traditional application-support function.

What's unique about this job (What you’ll do)
Strategic Priorities
  • Make Supply Chain & Logistics Technology a business capability focused on measurable outcomes, not application ownership.
  • Create an integrated technology roadmap across supplier, catalog, inventory, distribution, warehouse and logistics capabilities.
  • Modernize and simplify the supply chain technology ecosystem while protecting operational continuity.
  • Improve inventory visibility, product flow, operational efficiency and scalability through technology.
  • Establish clear product ownership, prioritization and accountability across the portfolio.
  • Build reusable capabilities and reduce point solutions and unnecessary customization.
  • Define and execute the technology strategy and multi-year roadmap for Supply Chain & Logistics aligned with enterprise and business priorities.
  • Translate Supply Chain, Merchandising and Operations strategies into technology capabilities, products and investment priorities.
  • Own technology planning across Supplier Experience, Digital Catalog, Inventory, Distribution, Warehouse and Logistics.
  • Maintain a clear capability roadmap that balances transformation, modernization, technical health and operational needs.
Product Operating Model & Business Partnership
  • Establish product-oriented ways of working with clear business outcomes, product ownership, roadmaps and success metrics.
  • Partner with business leaders to define problems, prioritize demand and make trade-offs based on enterprise value.
  • Ensure teams are organized around business capabilities and outcomes rather than individual systems.
  • Drive adoption, change readiness and value realization for new capabilities.
Technology Delivery & Modernization
  • Lead delivery of strategic supply chain and logistics technology initiatives from roadmap through implementation and adoption.
  • Simplify fragmented processes and technologies and reduce technical debt where it limits business agility.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, resilient, secure and support PriceSmart’s multi-country operating model.
  • Partner with ERP/JDE leadership on integrations, dependencies, and transition planning where supply chain capabilities rely on core ERP services.
  • Drive disciplined execution with clear milestones, dependencies, risks and measurable business outcomes.
Enterprise Capability Integration
  • Partner with Enterprise Architecture & Strategy to ensure solutions align with target architecture, technology standards and portfolio strategy.
  • Partner with Data & AI to enable trusted supply chain data, analytics, forecasting and AI-enabled use cases.
  • Partner with Infrastructure, Operations & Security to ensure reliability, performance, security and operational readiness.
  • Partner with Technology Business Operations on portfolio governance, financial management, vendor management and delivery transparency.
  • Collaborate across Product Engineering domains where end-to-end journeys intersect with Club/POS/Digital and Corporate Technology.
