SUNY Cortland invites applications for an Associate Vice President and Chief Information Officer (CIO). The Associate Vice President and Chief Information Officer (CIO) will serve as a senior level executive leader providing information technology and library services vision and leadership to the SUNY Cortland Information Resources (IR) team. Home to approximately 80 employees, Information Resources includes Information Systems and Security, Campus Technology Services, Networking and Telecommunications, and Memorial Library. The CIO leads these areas along with strategically identified internal and external partnerships to most effectively develop, communicate, and execute a comprehensive IR strategy supporting the mission of the university. The CIO will establish and maintain collaborative and effective relationships with administration, faculty, staff, and students while demonstrating respect and advocacy for diversity in all its forms, including thought and perspective.
The successful candidate will report to the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs; and will directly supervise (4) Directors of Information Systems and Security, Campus Technology Services, Networking and Telecommunications, and Director of Memorial Library.
