Job summary

Iris Software Inc. is seeking a senior Data, Analytics & AI Presales Practitioner to collaborate with Client & Delivery Partners on Data & Analytics problems, conceptualize solutions, and present Iris capabilities. You will help bootstrap engagements and provide ongoing leadership across PoCs, PoTs and MVPs.

The role emphasizes building competency in Data & AI, including Data Engineering, Analytics, Data Science, AI/ML, ML and Data Ops, while staying current with industry trends and tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in a software discipline; MBA is a plus.
• 15+ years of experience in data architecture, Gen AI, pre-sales, and large-scale data/AI projects.
• Led engagements in data & AI for solutioning, architecture and presales.
• Strong client interaction and presentation skills.
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP data & AI services; LangChain, Python; cloud.openAI services.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-level data & AI solutioning and presales engagements.
• Collaborate with delivery partners to bootstrap engagements and deliver PoCs/PoTs/MVPs.
• Develop and promote data & AI competencies within Iris teams.
• Stay current on best practices, tools and trends in Data & AI.

Leadership Opportunity - Data, Analytics & AI Practice

Position Description

The Data & AI Presales Practitioner role is an opportunity to be part of the technology practices at Iris. The candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with Client & Delivery Partners at Iris to engage with Iris clients on their Data & Analytics (including Data Science, AI/ML, ML & Data Ops) related problems, conceptualize solution options, present Practice capabilities, help bootstrap engagements and provide ongoing leadership and oversight. In addition, the candidate will also participate in various Practice related activities including competency development, Knowledge Transfers and so on. with practice presentations and technology solutions on Data & AI.

Key Responsibilities

• Senior professional level role and hands-on enterprise level solution leader with deep experience in Data and AI technologies and on public cloud like AWS / Azure/ GCP
• Engage with client managers to understand their current state, business problems/ opportunities, conceptualize solution options, discuss and finalize with client stakeholders, help bootstrap a team and deliver PoCs/PoTs/MVP etc.
• Help build overall competency within teams working in related client engagements and rest of Iris in Data & AI, including Data Engineering, Analytics, Data Science, AI/ML, ML and Data Ops, Data Governance etc. related solution patterns, platforms, tools and technology.
• Staying up to date in the field regarding best practices, new and emerging tools, and trends in the Data and AI

Professional Experience / Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree / Master’s degree in a Software discipline and/or MBA is a plus
• 15+ years of experience w.r.t. Data architecture, Gen AI, Pre Sales, Consulting, Implementation of large-scale Enterprise-level Data Lake/Data Warehousing, Big Data and AI applications.
• Professional with a background in Data and AI, should have led multiple engagements in Data & AI in terms of solutioning, architecture and presales.
• Should have excellent client interaction and presentation skills
• Technology
• For the above skill areas, must have lifecycle experience on some of the tools such as AWS/Azure/GCP Data & AI Services, Generative AI solutions using frameworks like LangChain, Python, and cloud services (Azure OpenAI, AWS).
• Technical knowledge of LLMs, RAG architecture, and vector databases
• Database experience and programming experience on Python/Java etc.

• Desired - Good experience and exposure in Financial Services – Capital Markets & Investment Banking, Commercial & Corporate Banking, Investment/ Asset/ Wealth Management, Brokerage and/or related industries
