Job summary

River Valley Animal Hospital in Barling, AR, is a small animal practice seeking an associate veterinarian (DVM) to join our four-doctor team and highly qualified support staff. We are flexible and open to Part-Time or Full-Time.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD from an AVMA-accredited college (or equivalent for international graduates).
  • Active Arkansas veterinary license in good standing, or ability to obtain licensure prior to start date.
  • Successful completion of the NAVLE.
  • Commitment to practicing high-quality, evidence-based veterinary medicine.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care for small animals with emphasis on wellness and preventative care.
  • Collaborate with a four-doctor team and support staff to deliver compassionate patient care.
  • Utilize diagnostics and anesthesia, pain management, dentistry, radiography, and client communication.
