River Oaks Animal Hospital in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join our close-knit team. We operate a general practice plus urgent care model in a modern facility with strong support from ownership and management.

Formación

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD from an accredited college.
• Current South Carolina veterinary license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Previous clinical experience in small animal medicine.
• Confidence in independently managing routine wellness appointments, sick patients, and a variety of medical cases.
• Proficiency in routine soft tissue surgery and dentistry, with an interest in ongoing skill development.
• Comfort with a general practice plus urgent care model, including triaging and emergencies.
• Commitment to high-quality medicine and AAHA standards of care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build lasting relationships with clients and their pets.

Responsabilidades

• Provide high-quality veterinary care in a general practice and urgent care setting.
• Independently manage routine wellness appointments, sick patients, and diverse medical cases.
• Perform routine soft tissue surgery and dentistry and continue to develop these skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to optimize patient outcomes.
• Uphold AAHA standards of care and contribute to a positive hospital culture.
