River Oaks Animal Hospital in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join our close-knit team. We are an independently owned, AAHA-accredited hospital with a general practice plus urgent care model, a modern facility, and a supportive staff culture built on collaboration.

This four-day schedule features two routine appointment days, one urgent care day, and one surgery/dentistry day.

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary college.
• Current SC veterinary license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Previous clinical experience in small animal medicine.
• Proficiency in routine soft tissue surgery and dentistry, with interest to develop these skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in general practice and urgent care.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to review cases.
• Independently manage routine wellness and sick patients across diverse medical cases.
