PetVet Care Centers is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join Lincoln Road Veterinary Clinic in Grants Pass, Oregon. The role focuses on high-quality medical care with strong client communication and teamwork alongside experienced veterinarians, technicians, and support staff.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited college and valid state license to practice veterinary medicine.
• DEA registration must be obtained and maintained.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills with surgical and dental proficiency.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities for client interaction.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high quality progressive veterinary care and medical standards.
• Guide medical policies and ensure teamwork across the hospital.
• Manage hospital inventory, budget for new equipment, and assess ROI.
• Oversee patient care, review records, and ensure accurate handoffs.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary laws and AAHA standards.
• Monitor performance, provide coaching, and mentor staff veterinarians.
• Lead candidate interviews and identify new service opportunities.
• Drive revenue and hospital performance with Hospital Manager oversight.
• Plan for operational challenges and locum coverage as needed.
