Job summary

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school.
• Active veterinary licensure in the state of employment and ability to obtain by start date.
• Current DEA license and, if applicable, Controlled Substance license.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality veterinary care including exams, diagnoses, and preventive care.
• Communicate effectively with clients and hospital team to ensure patient welfare.
• Develop and implement treatment plans and coordinate with referral hospitals when needed.
• Document examinations, diagnoses, and treatments clearly in medical records.
• Participate in rounds and contribute to continuous improvement of patient care.
