Job summary

Atlas Consultancy Group, on behalf of a Seattle area small animal hospital, seeks an Associate Veterinarian to join a AAHA-accredited practice with a modern treatment room, digital radiology, ultrasound, and therapy laser. The role covers preventive care, surgeries (spay/neuter, dentals, mass removals), end-of-life care, and collaboration with local specialists.

Competitive salary range $80,000–$180,000 with benefits including 401k, health/dental/vision, infertility and gender-affirming

Qualifications

  • DVM degree from an accredited university.
  • Washington license in good standing or ability to obtain it.
  • Committed to the highest standard of veterinary medicine.
  • Experience with client-centered care and end-of-life discussions.

We are working on behalf of an established small animal hospital in a quaint, walkable neighborhood of Seattle, WA that is looking to welcome an Associate Veterinarian to its team.

The practice has been AAHA accredited for 25 years and counting, and has recently remodeled its treatment room to keep pace with the latest technology, including digital radiology, ultrasound, and therapy laser, plus hands-free radiology safety standards throughout. This is a Fear Free-focused practice with a strong general practice client base, a large number of returning cat patients, and urgent care opportunities layered on top.

Primary surgeries include spay and neuter, dentals, and mass removals, and you will work closely with local specialists on more difficult cases. Cases range from preventative care to managing chronic conditions and end-of-life care. The neighborhood itself has a small-town feel, just a few miles from the city's famous waterfront market, with walking and biking paths and water views close by.

About You

  • DVM degree from an accredited university or equivalent
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in Washington, or the ability to obtain it
  • Committed to practicing the highest standard of medicine
  • Comfortable managing everything from preventative care to end-of-life care
  • Collaborative team player who enjoys teaching and learning from others
  • Strong client communication skills built on trust
  • Salary range of $80,000 to $180,000, negotiable based on experience
