Qualifications

  • DVM or VMD from an accredited college.
  • Current Washington license or eligibility to obtain licensure.

Responsibilities

  • Provide wellness, preventive, medical, and surgical care for companion animals.

  • Interpret laboratory results, radiographs, and other tests.
  • Educate clients on preventive care, nutrition, and long-term health.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and collaborate with staff.

Tender Touch Small Animal Hospital is seeking a compassionate and motivated Associate Veterinarian to join our privately owned, well-established small animal practice in Redmond, Washington. Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive wellness, preventive, medical, and surgical care for companion animals.
  • Perform physical examinations, diagnose illnesses, develop treatment plans, and prescribe appropriate therapies.
  • Perform routine soft tissue surgeries and dental procedures.
  • Interpret laboratory results, radiographs, and other diagnostic tests.
  • Educate clients on preventive care, treatment options, nutrition, and long-term health management.
  • Maintain accurate and complete medical records.
  • Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to deliver outstanding patient care.
  • Participate in continuing education and contribute to a positive, supportive team culture.
  • Uphold the highest standards of medical excellence, ethics, and client service.

Job Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree from an accredited veterinary college.
  • Current Washington State veterinary license or eligibility to obtain licensure before employment.
  • DEA license (or ability to obtain upon hire).
  • Strong clinical skills in small animal medicine and surgery.
  • Excellent communication and client education skills.
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to veterinary care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a positive, team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality medical care and exceptional client service.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in small animal general practice.
