Animal Urgent Care of Hernando County is looking for a full- or part-time Associate Veterinarian. We are an independently owned and operated urgent care clinic in Spring Hill, Florida. We see only urgent care cases on a same-day basis, Wednesday-Sunday from 3pm-10pm, and are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Our ideal candidate is open to working four days per week (7-hour workdays) or only 1-2 days per week. The average patient load is 5-10 cases per night, with support from 3-4 qualified veterinary technicians and assistants.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an AVMA-accredited veterinary program (DVM, VMD, or BVMS) or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program
• Active Florida DBPR Veterinary Medicine license or ability to obtain it before start date
• 2+ years of work experience in urgent or emergency care post-graduation
• Current DEA license in good standing
• Ability to walk, kneel, bend, crouch, crawl, stand, and reach during the workday
• Strong communication skills
