Our client is a full-service small animal hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their dedicated and experienced team. The hospital provides comprehensive medical, surgical, dental, and preventative care for dogs and cats and also offers urgent care services. This role offers flexibility for veterinarians interested in a GP and urgent care hybrid position, with opportunities for those of all experience levels, including new graduates.
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with no regular weekend or overnight hours required. The role is available on a full-time or part-time basis, with additional weekend urgent care shifts available for those interested. Weekend urgent care hours run from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday, and the team is open to creative scheduling options to suit the right candidate.
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing high-quality care across general practice and urgent care cases. Duties include performing wellness and preventative exams, diagnosing and treating a variety of medical conditions, performing surgery and dentistry where comfortable, and communicating effectively with clients to support long-term patient health. The role does not involve overnight responsibilities. Veterinarians with all levels of experience are encouraged to apply, and structured mentorship is available to support new graduates or those seeking further professional development.
The hospital operates within a spacious 6,000-square-foot facility featuring an in-house surgical suite, digital radiography, and a comprehensive in-house laboratory. The hospital also collaborates with board-certified specialists for advanced diagnostics when required. Services include wellness and preventive care, radiology, surgery, dental care, laser therapy, orthopedic procedures (including cruciate repair, fracture repair, patella luxation repair, and femoral head ostectomy), dermatology, senior wellness programs, microchipping, and vaccinations. The practice is AAHA-accredited, reflecting its commitment to maintaining high medical and operational standards.
