Our client is a hospital hiring a full-time or part-time Associate Veterinarian to join an AAHA-accredited small animal practice caring for cats and dogs. Serving the community since 1938, the hospital has developed deep community ties and a loyal, appreciative client base. The Associate Veterinarian will diagnose and treat patients, perform surgical and dental procedures, educate clients, and collaborate closely with the veterinary team to provide exceptional patient care. The practice is open to discussing scheduling preferences to create a schedule that works for both the successful candidate and the hospital. Applications are welcomed from both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. Working alongside an established team of veterinarians and a dedicated Medical Director, you will benefit from consistent support and opportunities to develop and refine your clinical skills.
The hospital is AAHA accredited and is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday mornings from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. Services are comprehensive, including wellness and preventative medicine, testing and diagnostics, advanced care procedures, behaviour, pain management, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and spays and neuters.
The team consists of 5 DVMs supported by a fantastic team of support staff. You will be integrated into a stable and experienced team that includes four Associate DVMs and a dedicated Medical Director, creating a collaborative environment where mentorship, teamwork, and professional development are part of everyday practice.
