If you enjoy urgent care and emergency medicine, there are opportunities to gain additional exposure and develop your skills.
However, this is entirely optional.
You can focus primarily on general practice, preventative medicine, consultations and routine medical and surgical cases if that better suits your interests.
There is also access to ultrasound, providing an excellent opportunity to further develop your diagnostic imaging skills.
