Job description

We are seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join our team. The competitive candidate will have 2+ years of general practice experience, an interest in emergency/urgent care, a strong work ethic, ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, and have a true interest in joining with VCA Chatoak’s passion for serving our community.

In this position you'll use your superior medical judgment combined with a high level of empathy, confidence and humility to build a loyal client base and heal pets.

Schedule

• Full-Time or Part-Time, weekends & one overnight shift required
• Open 7 days a week from 7am to midnight. We offer overnight care

• Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The annual salary range for this position is $80,000 to $170,000.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent
• Licensure in good standing to practice in California, or the ability to obtain
• A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
