Southgate Veterinary Clinic is seeking a full-time associate Veterinarian to join our team! Our clinic offers a great opportunity for confident and motivated veterinarians, whether experienced or recent graduates seeking mentorship. A recent renovation has enhanced our facilities, attracting clients and providing a comfortable workspace. We have a dedicated support staff, including four technicians, who work diligently and are eligible for reward bonuses. Job Description
- Full-Time, Part-Time, or Relief Veterinarian
- Proficient in general medicine, soft tissue surgery, and dentistry
- Experience preferred, but new graduates seeking mentorship are encouraged to apply!

Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent from an accredited university
- Active veterinary state license
- Current DEA License preferred but not required
- USDA Accreditation preferred but not required

Special Working Conditions:
- Ability to sit or stand and work at a computer for extended periods
- Comfortable around animals such as dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, etc. (species treated should be confirmed with practice leadership)
- Occasional work beyond 40 hours per week may be required, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Must have reasoning, memory, mathematics, and language skills (English) to perform duties proficiently
- Moderately high noise level; ear plugs available upon request
- Sufficient ambulatory skills to perform duties
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and lift/move up to 50 pounds
- Good hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and visual acuity for operating equipment and performing tasks
- Vision abilities required include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Potential exposure to animals that may bite, kick, scratch, and to hazards such as anesthesia, radiation, biological agents, and medications
