Our client is a hospital hiring for a full-time Associate Veterinarian within an AAHA-accredited small animal practice. The hospital provides care for dogs and cats, alongside services for pocket pets and rabbits, offering a varied caseload in a supportive and compassionate environment. The practice is focused on high-quality medicine, patient wellbeing, and continued professional development.
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical care including wellness exams, preventative medicine, diagnostics, dentistry, internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, orthopedic procedures, pain management, and client education. The role also offers exposure to dermatology, behavior therapy, acupuncture, cardiology, ophthalmology, oncology, and exotic companion animal care. Responsibilities include building long-term client relationships, developing treatment plans, communicating clearly with pet owners, and collaborating with the wider team to deliver excellent patient outcomes.
The hospital operates Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays. The practice is AAHA accredited and equipped to support advanced diagnostics and treatment, including blood and lab testing, ECG, digital radiology, tonometry, ultrasound, and surgical capabilities.
Services include wellness care, vaccinations, dental care, dermatology, euthanasia, microchipping, nutrition, parasite control, puppy and kitten care, senior care, internal medicine, acupuncture, behavior therapy, cardiology, health certificates, OFA certification, oncology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, pain management, pocket pet care, rabbit care, anesthesia, spay and neuter, soft tissue surgery, CCL repair, mass removal, orthopedic surgery, dental surgery, vulvoplasty, and cystotomy. Salary up to $170,000 (Annual)
