Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions is seeking an Associate Vertical Account Manager to grow revenue within established accounts using a total solution strategic approach. This home-based role supports the Commercial Insurance team, with travel up to 10% as needed to meet clients and oversee opportunities.

You will manage relationships across levels, drive retention, and work with sales support to present insurance solutions and close deals. Remote work is supported within preferred time zones.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in commercial insurance is ideal.
• Prior sales or account management experience.
• Demonstrated experience building client relationships.
• Excellent project management and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing relationships and identify growth opportunities within selected solution sets.
• Manage customer roadmap retention plans and actions to protect base revenue.
• Establish and maintain excellent customer relationships; liaise between sales support and customers to provide superior service.
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue objectives; oversee forecasting activities.
• Demonstrate understanding of select Commercial Insurance products and solutions to present value to customers.
• Follow up on inbound leads, conduct outbound outreach, and develop new sales opportunities.
• Provide excellent customer service by handling objections, setting expectations, negotiating pricing and contracts, and closing sales.

About the Job

The Associate Vertical Account Manager exists to acquire and grow revenue within established accounts using a total solution strategic approach.

You’ll Be Responsible For

• Evaluating existing relationships and identifying growth opportunities within selected solution sets.
• Managing customer roadmap retention plans and actions to ensure protection of base revenue.
• Establishing and maintaining excellent customer relationships at all levels, acting as a liaison between sales support and customers to provide superior service and solutions.
• Meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual revenue objectives and overseeing all forecasting activities.
• Demonstrating a clear understanding of select Commercial Insurance products and solutions to effectively present them to customers and articulate the value they can expect from using them.
• Following up on inbound leads, conducting outbound outreach, and developing new sales opportunities to support account growth.
• Providing excellent customer service by effectively managing customer objections, setting realistic expectations, successfully negotiating pricing and contracts, and closing sales.

• Prior experience working in commercial insurance is ideal.
• Prior sales or account management experience.
• Demonstrated experience successfully building client relationships.
• Excellent project management and analytical skills.
• This is a home-based role, preferably located in the Eastern or Central time zones.
• Travel required up to 10%.

Primary Location Base Pay Range

Home based-Illinois $56,900 - $94,900. Total Target Cash Range: $87,500 - $146,000. U.S. National Base Pay Range: $54,200 - $90,400. Total Target Cash Range: $83,300 - $139,000. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.
