Job summary

Dun & Bradstreet invites an Associate UX Designer to join our design team in Austin. You will support the end-to-end UX process from research through prototyping, aligning with design system guidelines and product goals.

You'll collaborate with product managers, developers, and researchers to craft intuitive interfaces, document insights, and contribute to ongoing design improvements. This is an excellent growth path for early-career designers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 0-2 years of related industry experience.
• A portfolio showcasing strong visual design skill and an understanding of user centered design principles.
• Experience with various user research, prototyping and visual design tools (e.g. Figma, FigJam, Figma Make, Replit, Adobe Creative Suite, Optimal Workshop, User Interview).
• Good understanding of how to design solutions for end-to-end scenarios.
• Ability to persuade others about your design process.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skill.
• Foundational knowledge with user-centered design techniques (framing, interviews, usability testing).
• Proficient communication of process and research findings to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Assist project teams in designing new web-based software through the product lifecycle.
• Assist in conducting user research, including interviews, surveys, usability tests, and competitive analysis.
• Help analyze research data and translate into actionable design insights and analytics.
• Assist in presenting design concepts to teams and stakeholders with feedback.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and developers to ensure feasible designs.
• Refine design solutions based on stakeholder feedback and tests.
• Produce design artifacts such as personas, wireframes, prototypes, and site maps.
• Build relationships with product teams to foster a creative and productive atmosphere.
• Justify decisions based on contemporary user-centered design methodologies.
