Job summary

Amwins in Atlanta, GA is seeking an Associate Underwriter for a full-time, in-office role with potential hybrid flexibility after training. You will review submissions, rate and prepare quotes, handle inspection recommendations, and support accounting and data entry across systems.

Responsibilities

• Rating and preparation of new or renewal quotes as directed by Underwriter.
• Review and handling of inspection recommendations and discrepancies.
• Monitor various reports for consistency.
• Potential for policy issuance and endorsement processing, including audits.
• Assist in accounting procedures such as invoicing.
• Data entry into multiple internet-based systems.

Join our Amwins Access team in Atlanta, GA as an Associate Underwriter!

This is a full-time, in-office position in our Atlanta office with potential for a hybrid schedule once training is complete.

Each Associate Underwriter provides vital team functions:

• Review submission information required to issue new or renewal quotes
• Rating and preparation of new or renewal quotes as directed by Underwriter
• Review and handling of inspection recommendations and discrepancies
• Monitor various reports for consistency
• Potential for policy issuance and endorsement processing, including audits
• Assist in accounting procedures such as invoicing
• Data entry into multiple internet-based systems

We are looking for people with:

• At least 1 year of prior insurance experience

• Strong work ethic, critical thinking skills, and attention to detail
• Excellent computer skills including typing proficiency, Microsoft Office proficiency with an emphasis in Excel spreadsheet
