Department Information

The State Treasurer's Office is a small department located in the historical Unruh Building at 915 Capitol Mall, close to the State Capitol, public transportation and with parking garage options nearby. The building is adjacent to the State Capitol Park, which is a wonderful place to exercise and enjoy the beautiful landscape during the fair-weathered months. The neighborhood around the building is filled with endless dining options, coffee shops, fitness clubs and conveniences like corner stores, etc.

Roles and Duties

Under the general direction of the Treasury Program Manager I, Item Processing Section, the individual is responsible for highly technical duties related to reconciliation, adjustments, review, and verification of payments for presenting banks.

Individuals who are currently in the classification, eligible for lateral transfer, eligible for reinstatement, have list or LEAP eligibility, are in the process of obtaining list eligibility, or have SROA and/or Surplus eligibility (please attach your letter, if available). SROA and Surplus candidates are given priority; therefore, individuals with other eligibility may be considered in the event no SROA or Surplus candidates apply.
