Responsibilities

• Operate the transmission system according to policies and standards.
• Ensure safe, reliable and economic operation of 345 kV and 161 kV systems.
• Coordinate outages and monitor system disturbances with the reliability coordinator.
• Provide training within the system operations department.
• Transfer information per NERC standards to adjacent areas.
• Advance to the transmission operator after training and testing.
