Job summary

American Transmission Co. (ATC) is seeking a seasoned training leader to shape and advance our Initial Training Program for System Operations.

The role focuses on executing training structure, schedules, curriculums, and qualification pathways to elevate operational reliability. You will coordinate classroom, simulator-based, and on‑the‑job training, deliver technical instruction, and coach participants while acting as a subject‑matter expert.

Qualifications

• Seven years of utility operations, training, or technical instruction experience.
• Degree or equivalent experience.
• NERC System Operator Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute ATC’s Initial Training Program structure, schedule, curriculum, and qualification pathway.

Lead the Training that Powers Reliability at American Transmission Company (ATC). You will shape the future of System Operations training by managing the execution and continuous improvement of our Initial Training Program. This role is ideal for an experienced operator, trainer, or operations leader who turns operational expertise into structured learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum seven (7) years of relevant utility operations, training, or technical instruction experience.
• NERC System Operator Certification preferred.
• Experience applying adult learning principles in classroom, simulator, and on‑job training programs preferred.

• Targeted base pay range: $137,900 to $160,900 annually.
