Our Associate Therapists & Wellness Consultants work under the supervision of an experienced Qualified Supervisor (QS) while developing their expertise, caseload, and confidence in independent clinical work.
About the Role
The Associate Therapist & Wellness Consultant (II) position is designed for registered interns/associates who are pursuing full licensure in Florida. This role provides a structured and supportive environment to develop clinical skills while working under supervisory billing with Aetna & Cigna patients. You will have the opportunity to work with diverse client populations while engaging in mentorship, training, and professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual, couples, and group therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed clinician
- Participate in weekly supervision with a Qualified Supervisor (QS) to meet licensure requirements
- Develop core therapeutic competencies in evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT, and more
- Build a caseload with a mix of private pay and Aetna/Cigna clients via supervisory billing
- Receive mentorship & structured feedback to develop clinical confidence and competence
- Engage in professional development opportunities, including CEUs and licensure support
- Participate in Dreavita’s community outreach efforts, workshops, and patient programs
What We’re Looking For
- Must be a registered intern (e.g., RMHCI, RMFTI, RCSWI) in Florida and actively working toward licensure
- Eligible for clinical supervision under a Florida Qualified Supervisor (QS)
- Strong foundational clinical skills and commitment to evidence-based practice
- Desire to specialize in areas such as trauma, neurodiversity, anxiety, somatic therapy, or other therapeutic approaches
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote team setting
- Motivation to learn, grow, and transition into an independent clinical role
Compensation & Benefits

Compensation & Employment Structure
- W2 employment with a structured hourly pay model
- $43–$48 per session, based on experience and qualifications
- 4% annual raises
- Caseload flexibility – Build your caseload over time while balancing supervision and training
- Supervision provided at no cost to the clinician (meets Florida licensure requirements)
- Supervisory billing structure – Work with Aetna & Cigna patients under the supervision of a licensed clinician
- Pathway to promotion to Therapist & Wellness Consultant (III) upon licensure ($52–$62 per session)
