Job summary

Discovery Mood & Anxiety in Shawnee, KS is seeking an Associate Therapist to join a dynamic multidisciplinary team. You will provide treatment services, lead therapy groups, ensure patient safety, and complete clinical assessments on site.

The position requires a Master’s or Doctorate in a relevant field and state requirements to conduct therapeutic interventions. Full-time schedule is Sunday to Thursday, 9am–5pm, with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in a relevant field is required.
• Completion of state requirements to conduct therapeutic interventions.
• Operates under supervision and is not fully licensed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety and timely clinical documentation throughout treatment.
• Lead psychoeducational and process-oriented therapy groups.
• Facilitate admission assessments and the intake process for new patients.
• Discharge planning and coordinating care across levels of care.
• Communicate with Utilization Review and Business Departments regarding authorization and payment.
