Job summary

Connecticut Counseling Group seeks a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA) to provide direct outpatient mental health services. You will conduct intake assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions for diverse clients in a full-time on-site role.

Responsibilities include documentation, coordination with other providers, supervision, and ongoing professional development toward independent licensure. Telehealth and collaboration with schools are possible.

Qualifications

• Must hold/be eligible for an LPCA license in Connecticut.
• Experience providing counseling across diverse age groups (children to adults) preferred.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic formulation, and treatment planning skills.
• Comfort with in-person and telehealth platforms; proficient with EHRs.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, couples, and family counseling in outpatient settings.
• Conduct intake assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions and maintain clinical documentation.
• Coordinate care with other providers and participate in supervision.
• Engage in case consultation and ongoing professional development.
• May include crisis intervention and collaboration with schools/community resources.
• Contribute to a supportive, ethical clinical environment.
