Job summary

New U Therapy Center & Family Services is a well-established multidisciplinary mental health practice offering psychiatric services, individual and family therapy, and functional psychiatry. We seek an Associate Therapist to join our Torrance-area team and provide meaningful psychotherapy within a supportive multidisciplinary group.

You will manage a caseload of 25 clients, collaborate with colleagues, and maintain accurate documentation while growing clinically toward licensure.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field.
• Completion of at least 1,000 post-graduate clinical hours toward licensure.
• Commitment to building therapeutic relationships and achieving meaningful outcomes for clients.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• A desire to grow within a group private practice and remain with us after licensure.
• No history of receiving services from New U Therapy Center & Family Services.
• No immediate family member currently receiving services from New U Therapy Center & Family Services.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a caseload of 25 active clients, providing high-quality outpatient mental health therapy to individuals, couples, and families.
• Help clients set meaningful goals and work toward measurable outcomes.
• Diligently track clients’ progress and serve as an accountability partner.
• Complete clinical documentation in a timely and legally compliant manner.
• Actively participate as a positive and collaborative member of the clinical team.
