Job summary

New U Therapy Center & Family Services is a growing multidisciplinary mental health practice with locations in Valencia, Torrance, and Westlake Village, offering psychiatric services, individual and family therapy, and functional psychiatry. The team emphasizes compassionate, collaborative care and supports clinicians with supervision and flexible scheduling.

The role includes a 30-session-per-week target, a minimum caseload of 25, and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field.
• ACSW, AMFT, APCC credentials.
• Completion of at least 1,000 post-graduate clinical hours toward licensure.
• Commitment to building therapeutic relationships and achieving meaningful outcomes.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Desire to grow within a group private practice and remain after licensure.

Responsibilities

• Typically assigned 30 patient sessions per week with a minimum caseload of 25 sessions.
• Help clients set meaningful goals and work toward measurable outcomes.
• Diligently track clients’ progress and act as an accountability partner.
• Complete clinical documentation in a timely and legally compliant manner.
• Actively participate as a positive and collaborative member of the clinical team.

What You’ll Do:

Rates:

Up to $40-$44 per clinical hour

Work Set-up:

Hybrid - one to two days a week to provide in- person therapy.
