Job summary

Twisted Oaks Therapy is seeking an Associate Therapist to join a compassionate, growth-oriented practice in California. The role involves performing assessments, creating treatment plans, and delivering individual, couples, family, and child therapy to a diverse client base.

The Associate will work under supervision, maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation, and collaborate with families and other providers to coordinate care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or related field.
• Registered Associate (AMFT, ACSW, or APCC) with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences in good standing.
• Strong skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
• Knowledge of evidence-based modalities (e.g., CBT, motivational interviewing).
• Ability to manage a caseload and complete timely documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual, couples, family, and child therapy sessions.
• Utilize evidence-based approaches tailored to client needs.
• Support children and families with developmentally appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary providers to strengthen support systems.
• Provide case management and coordinate care as needed.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with HIPAA.
