Twisted Oaks Family Therapy Inc is seeking an Associate Therapist (AMFT, APCC, ASW, or ACSW) to join our Paso Robles and Atascadero, CA team. You will provide individual, family, children, and couples therapy, perform psychosocial assessments, and develop tailored treatment plans within a supportive clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
• Active California BBS registration as an AMFT, APCC, ASW, or ACSW.
• Strong commitment to accumulating supervised hours toward full licensure.
• Experience or coursework in evidence-based therapeutic approaches (CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, etc.).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation and client interaction.
• Empathetic, client-centered approach with strong professional boundaries.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation including progress notes and treatment records
• Collaborate with supervising clinicians and multidisciplinary team members to ensure quality care

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities to support client goals and outcomes
• Maintain professional ethical standards in accordance with California BBS regulations
