Requirements include a Master’s or Doctorate in a relevant field and state credentials to perform therapy, with CPI/CPR/AED/First Aid and ServSafe certifications due within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in relevant field is required.
• Completion of state requirements to conduct therapeutic interventions is required.
• CPR, AED and First Aid certifications within 90 days of hire.
• ServSafe certification within 90 days of hire.
• Must possess a current driver's license and be in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure clinical documentation is completed timely throughout treatment.
• Establish therapeutic rapport with patients and families.
• Facilitates admission assessments and the admission process for new patients.
• Participates in weekly treatment team and communicates weekly treatment goals.
• Completes required number of therapy sessions weekly for patients, including family sessions.
• Facilitates process-oriented and psychoeducation groups daily (1–2 times).
• Begins discharge planning on day of admission and completes discharge session.
• Provides utilization reviews to insurance, obtaining authorizations as needed.
• Assesses suicidality and safety.
