Discovery Behavioral Health is seeking an Associate Therapist to join a dynamic multidisciplinary team in Temecula, CA. You will conduct therapy sessions, facilitate psychoeducational groups, and manage discharge planning to support a structured clinical model.

Responsibilities include timely documentation, establishing rapport with patients and families, participating in treatment teams, and coordinating with utilization review for authorization.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in relevant field required.
• Completion of state requirements to conduct therapeutic interventions required.
• Operates under supervision and is not licensed.
• CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
• CPR, AED, and First Aid certification within 90 days of hire.
• ServSafe certification within 90 days of hire.
• Must possess a current driver's license and be in good standing.

Responsabilités

• Ensure clinical documentation is completed timely throughout the course of treatment.
• Establish therapeutic rapport with patients and families/loved ones.
• Facilitate admission assessments and the admission process for new patients.
• Participate in weekly treatment team and communicate weekly treatment goals with all team members.
• Complete appropriate number of therapy sessions weekly for patients, including family sessions.
• Facilitate process orientated and psychoeducation groups daily.
• Provide utilization reviews to insurance companies for authorizations.
• Assess patients for suicidality and safety.
