Job summary

Grow Through Life Counseling, Inc. is seeking an Associate Therapist (AMFT/ASW/APCC) in California to provide direct care for diverse clients, with evenings and extended hours as needed.

The role includes caseload management, notes, and supervision, in a clinician-led environment emphasizing collaboration and growth. In-person positions with dedicated treatment space and support from intake, billing staff, and supervision.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid registration with the CA BBS as an AMFT, ASW, or APCC in California
• Invested interest in providing direct care
• Able to work prime time hours for clients including evenings, weekends, holidays and/or extended hours as needed
• Proficient computer skills in Google Workspace and EHRs
• Ability to quickly adapt to and learn new programs, systems, and/or processes
• General knowledge of office skills, use of office equipment
• Must be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines
• Must possess effective written and oral communication and social skills
• Excellent written and verbal skills. Proven ability to correctly use punctuation and grammar
• Bilingual fluency a plus
• Possess high degree of discretion, integrity, professionalism, and accountability
• Professional image and demeanor
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills with capacity to handle high volumes of detailed work, multi-task and manage timely documentation
• Being consistent, punctual, and have reliable attendance
• Having a strong ability to communicate effectively and work well with others in a collaborative, respectful manner

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, treatment planning and care for own caseload across the lifespan
• Review and sign treatment notes
• Working collaboratively with Clinical Supervisor & Regional Practice Director
• Collaborates with other departments within the practice to maintain and provide great client care experience for client(s)
• Follows established clinical protocols and procedures at all times
• Represents the practice in a positive and professional manner at all times
• Other duties as assigned
