Job summary

Newport Healthcare is looking for an Associate Therapist to lead individual and group sessions, mentor direct care staff, and collaborate with treatment teams in Fairfield, CT. You will work within our clinical model and participate in screenings, intakes, assessments, and discharge planning.

A Master’s degree in a clinical discipline and board registration to accrue licensure hours are required. Experience with children, teens, or young adults is preferred, along with a patient-first mindset,

• Participating in screenings, intakes, orientations, assessments, treatment planning, and discharge planning.
• Attending trainings and clinical supervision sessions to enhance your skills and broaden your knowledge.
• Serving as a vital part of your clients’ multidisciplinary treatment teams.
• Supporting the team with crisis prevention, intervention, and management as needed.

What You’ll Do

• Facilitating clinical and experiential group therapy sessions to support healing and connection
• Participating in screenings, intakes, orientations, assessments, treatment planning, and discharge planning
• Attending trainings and clinical supervision sessions to enhance your skills and broaden your knowledge
• Serving as a vital part of your clients’ multidisciplinary treatment teams
• Supporting the team with crisis prevention, intervention, and management as needed
