Newport Healthcare in California seeks an Associate Therapist to facilitate individual and group sessions within our clinical model. You will mentor direct care staff and collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams to support clients’ recovery.

The role involves screenings, intakes, treatment planning, discharge planning, and ongoing trainings. A patient-first mindset, strong communication, and cultural competency are essential, with licensure hours tracked for progression.

What You'll Do

The Associate Therapist facilitates individual and group sessions with clients, mentors direct care staff, and works collaboratively within treatment teams. Key responsibilities include:

• Facilitating individual therapy sessions within the framework of Newport Healthcare's clinical model
• Facilitating clinical and experiential group therapy sessions to support healing and connection
• Participating in screenings, intakes, orientations, assessments, treatment planning, and discharge planning
• Attending trainings and clinical supervision sessions to enhance your skills and broaden your knowledge
• Serving as a vital part of your clients' multidisciplinary treatment teams
• Supporting the team with crisis prevention, intervention, and management as needed

• Master's degree in a clinical discipline (required)
• Board registered to accrue hours towards licensure in the state where services are provided (required)
• Experience facilitating therapy with children, teens, and/or young adults (preferred)

Compensation Range: $29.55-$40.63 per hour based on education and experience.
