Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Attend weekly treatment team meetings, staff meetings, and clinical supervision.
  • Accurately enter and save data in EMR, Word, Outlook, and online learning platforms.
  • Represent Newport Healthcare at meetings, trainings, and conferences as needed.

Lead Family Orientations, Welcome Presentations, and Family Support Groups to engage and educate families about the treatment process.

Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans within established timelines. Collaborate with the treatment team to coordinate treatment goals and services, including 30‑day treatment plan reviews and updates.

Qualifications
What Makes You a Great Fit
  • Master’s Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field or enrollment in Doctorate program from an accredited or state approved graduate school required.
  • Licensed or ability to transfer license in Marriage Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, or Clinical Psychologist in the state in which services are provided
  • Experience with individual, family, and/or group therapy with young adults/adolescents
  • Experience with mental health, substance abuse, eating disorders, or trauma‑informed treatment preferred.
