Job summary

New U Therapy Center & Family Services is a well-established multidisciplinary mental health practice with Valencia, Torrance, and Westlake Village locations. We seek an Associate Therapist to provide meaningful psychotherapy within a supportive, multidisciplinary team.

You’ll enjoy supervision, flexible schedules including remote/in-person options, and opportunities to grow your clinical expertise while delivering high-quality, compassionate care to diverse clients.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, or related field.
• ACSW, AMFT, APCC credentials.
• Completion of at least 1,000 post-graduate clinical hours toward licensure.
• Strong commitment to building therapeutic relationships and meaningful outcomes for clients.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Desire to grow within a group private practice and remain post-licensure.
• No history of receiving services from New U Therapy Center & Family Services.
• No immediate family member currently receiving services from New U Therapy Center & Family Services.

Responsibilities

• Typically be assigned 30 patient sessions per week, with a minimum caseload of 25.
• Help clients set meaningful goals and work toward measurable outcomes.
• Diligently track clients’ progress and serve as an accountability partner.
• Complete clinical documentation in a timely and legally compliant manner.
• Actively participate as a positive and collaborative member of the clinical team.

Rates:

Up to $40-$44 per clinical hour

Work Set-up:
