Overview

Element has an opportunity for two Seasonal Associate Test Technicians to join our rapidly expanding team. Element is a test facility for wireless device certification, conducting regulatory and conformance testing for network test services. As a member of the operations team at our San Jose, CA lab, the Associate Test Technician performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department, ensuring timely and accurate test results under direct supervision. Salary Range: $25.00 - $27.50 /hour

Role Type: Seasonal

Work Shift: Day Shift: 6:00am - 3:00pm (Extended hours expected). We are also hiring for an evening shift: 4:00pm - 1:00am PT (Extended hours expected).

Project Duration: May 2025 - October 2025

Responsibilities
  • Perform and analyze OTA/EMC/RF compliance testing and evaluations per regulatory specifications.
  • Compile and report test results using MS Word, MS Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Evaluate devices and determine applicable standards.
  • Work in a team environment and assist in developing and improving test methodologies, reporting, and task coordination.
  • Maintain laboratory test methods and test equipment.
Skills / Qualifications
  • Engineering (STEM) undergraduate students (Associate/Bachelor degree), Technical School Certificate preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills, fast learner, team player, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and computer literate.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team.
  • Motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical ability to walk, stand, handle objects, reach, talk, hear, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Ability to lift 50+ lbs periodically.
