Principal Duties/Responsibilities:
  1. Performs entry-level break-fix and preventative maintenance, including adjusting functional parts of devices and control instruments to sustain and improve operations, repairing or replacing defective parts, and repairing machine tools.
  2. Provides support and backup for other department members as needed by leadership.
  3. Ensures compliance with 5S and housekeeping standards.
  4. Completes on-the-job training for career development.
  5. Updates records in CMMS.
  6. Contributes to Continuous Improvement activities, including processes, results, and cost savings.
  7. Follows all safety policies, rules, regulations, technical instructions, and guidelines, maintaining situational awareness to identify unsafe behaviors and conditions.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, & Behaviors Required:
  • High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
  • Ability to use basic hand tools.
  • Knowledge of basic electrical, mechanical, and fluid power systems.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

Employees are regularly required to stand, walk, handle or feel with hands/fingers, reach with arms, climb or balance at heights, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in confined spaces, and talk or hear. Occasionally, employees must sit and lift/move over 50 pounds. The role requires close and color vision, and exposure to outside weather, electrical hazards, and a factory environment with loud noise, hazardous materials, and slippery floors.

Compensation:

ATS believes in fair and equitable pay. Salaries vary based on education, training, experience, achievement, business needs, and location.

Pay Range: $20.92 — $26.74 USD
