Job summary

KLA is seeking an Associate Test Engineer in Milpitas, CA to contribute to testing of new technologies. You will perform setup, calibration and troubleshooting of circuits and mechanical assemblies, and help develop test specs from blueprints.

The role emphasizes working in a clean room, hands-on testing of digital/analog components, and collaboration across multiple teams to deliver reliable results.

Qualifications

• 4 years of relevant experience or 2 years with an Associate's degree.
• Experience testing digital and/or analog components and systems.
• Hands-on experience in electrical and optomechanical systems testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform setup, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits and assemblies.
• Develop test specifications and procedures from blueprints and diagrams.
• Test and troubleshoot assemblies and complete rework as needed.
• Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and proposed solutions.
• Assist in selecting and setting up specialized test equipment.
• Work with cross-functional teams across locations.
